Yeah, it helps spread out the load from the screw holding stuff down...but on the shock towers the benefit is limited, at best.

Correct.
But for me I'm just into it for the looks as lately I'm getting tired of the FT blue.

Ok thanks good to know, it does look cool but if that was the only reason for them ... not sure I would spend the money got to many other things that come before bling factor, but if they do help in key areas like the steering top plate then I will figure out what color I want lol.

Default my fully modded b4/t4 from hell..

About to finally get the mods i need in a couple weeks so i can use any traxxas rim or drift car rim they make..(useing the front castor block/steering knuckle/titanium stem for a hpi blitz or firestorm) also after months of searching i found a site that sells aluminum rims any color and a few styles regular or off set for 12mm hex for rubber or foam tires.. going foam for more speed and balance.. and so they wont balloon after 60 mph..

So I wanna run my electronics set up by you guys

ESC: RS
Motor: 17.5 Stock motor (not sure on the brand yet)
Servo: Radiopost RP1005M Standard High Speed Servo (High Voltage) @ 7.4v
Radio: Radiopost TS401 2.4 GHz DSSS Radio System

Does anyone see an issue running the servo at the HV setting of 7.4v, is there a disadvantage or issues I could come accross?

Any knows glitching or other issues with that servo?

I think the 4th hole is for the T4.1 and SC10. I have not seen it used on the B4.1

The inside hole on the new b4 towers is actually the 4th hole. They changed the mold/plastic with the b4.1 kits.

There was a running change on all new towers. The outer hole was removed and a third hole was added on the inside.

Thanks guys.

What's the consensus on the "C" tower for the rear hub? I'm running on a high bite clay track that is very smooth.
