Default Gearing

Kinda new to this but i have a quick question. If i need more speed for a bigger track and long staights, do I go up or down in gearing. I am running a 20/78 in it now and just put a 23/78. Did I go the wrong way? Haven't been to the track yet but I figured I would ask first. Thanks guys! Also, anyone out there running kyoshos velvets on the B4.1, if so what pistons and srings do you guys run. I had 3B's in it and want to change. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Are you guys running any anti-squat with the 2.5 blocks? I'm going to switch from the 3.0 - 2.5 and want to make sure I have the right set-up

nice going to try some 2.5. there are some fast turns were 3.0 feels slow, would like some more steering..As long as i don't get loose on the rear in a bad way I'm fine, med high bite indoor clay..

yeah I know alot of the old heads at your track. They used to whoop up on me years ago. You are extremely lucky to have all of those guys to race against every week

Was gonna try to be up for the race on the 4th but I'm not sure I can make it. almost a 4 hour drive for me. Still may try though because I am kinda crazy

LOL the problem isn't the distance, it's the traffic. Also man the tolls are just plain stupid.

You got it right with the gearing. Some of it depends on the motor you are running as well but without any outside interaction you will get more top end by gearing up like that. I've got velvets on my B4. I've got the two hole pistons in both front and rear with the orange springs in front and the yellows in the rear. Awesome shocks.
