There is 3 different versions of PS12. TL2111 has IFMAR, Boner has ROAR and 4racer has EFRA.
They are slightly different to meet propriet rulls.
As I know that from 2005 ROAR will lift 4.5 mm exhaust height rull, so start from that point ROAR and IFMAR version will be the same. EFRA still has some restriction and we will follow it.
There is no secret weapon on the different versions, just everything done to meet the rulls. EFRA is more strictly then everything else.
Best regards
Edward

hell break loose, thought the power have broke my centax. clutch bell spining together with flywheel after couple laps of hot laps. Well turns out the power have somehow "break" loose the flywheel nuts
Another bug is torn O-Ring at the carb, note to self never twist carb body while applying pressure and if it's not broken dont touch it.
TG777: great work on the PS12. very smooth and powerful love it.

Try to make sure the bottom is lean enough so you can pinch the fuel line and the engine will stall in around 2sec.

I have been running locally and I am pleased so far. I seem to be on par with the 5 port novas here on the top end. I seem to have more midrange on them. We had the radar gun out last week and I was hitting 54 mph but I do get there pretty quick. The ntc3 are never great for top end so I am satisfied, besides I love the infield....

but purposely richen the high end since I need to learn to drive more than enjoying the power of PS12

Hi Guys,
I got my hands on some no.5 turbo plugs.
I was able to run the engine for a complete tank, stopped about 4-5 times which to me is normal during the first tank.
Ran another tank just to be sure, engine runs for about 2 mins then cuts out.
I have to get some time to go down to the track & run a few tanks through the engine.
I have the bottom 1 1/4 out, top 4 1/4.
I still have 3 head shims + I'm running 16% fuel.
I'll give an update after my track session.
All the best

Hi Dieter, I pinch the tube 2-3 inches from the carb nipple. I try to pinch at the same place each time to make a better comparison of settings.

Hi Guys,
Still having some probs with my engine.
I've put two tanks of 16% fuel through the engine. One on tickover & one lightly blipping the throttle.
I have a No. 5 Novarossi plug + 16% fuel
Two shims (Came with 3)
1 1/4 bottom
3 3/4 top
When I start the engine it idles OK but when I blip the throttle a few times it cuts out.
The engine sounds crisp & does not feel like it is loading up with fuel.
I have not run the engine on the track yet, but if it keeps cutting out on the bench after a few blips whats the point?
Can somebody tell me what they did to run the engine in this might help.
MAny Thanks
