What length are those screws? I can pickup some from my LHS on the way home.

EDIT: I just looked in the online manual. They are 40mm long. I'll just pick up some from mcmaster-carr.

ok guys
i dont have alot track time on this car but i made some small changes and then big changes and took notes. with those note i looked at my car and have come up with what for the time being will be my base set up when i go to the track it may change as it does i post it.

if you like i will help make this work for you it just takes a lil bit work.

diffs
5/5/3
i have ran all 3 cars and this never changes yes i ran my truggy with 5/5/3 lol

shocks
front
8 hole taper 54s
orange front spring
45wt losi oil
4/b
rear
10 hole taper piston 5/55s 5/56s
yellow rear spring
30wt losi oil
5/b

links
front
long middle
rear link middle middle

hubs shimed
big shim in front lil ones in the back.

sway bars 2.3 front 2.5 rear
i want play with this a bit and find a more ballance set up.

insert
front 0/0

rear 6 toe 4up anti squat plate

castor blocks
10s with a 3 rack

want to try 12s 2 rack

with 2down front 2up bushings in the front

camber 1.5 all around

1 toe out

i think you might need the old serpent wing for this car not 100% sure still got testing to do

so for now this what you guys get give me a few weeks

also shock oil is based on 60 deg tempture you may have to mess with it a bit

Another option. I'm using this method on my pl6. Works like a charm. Check our epbuddy for your charging needs!

Gday there guys, I,m from australia and i just purchased a 811Be for our 1/8th NITRO TRUGGY and EP BUGGY nationals. To say the least, WOW, what a machine.

Never have i driven a EP anything, being strictly nitro, religiously XRAY, and more a successful truggy driver than buggy.

Got the cobra finished the night before with the build for our nationals and put 7 mins on the drive line and electrics on the road out front of home, that was my experience right there.

This thing is a weapon, running the v3 Hobbywing 2300kv combo, the only changes made at this stage was 35 oil in the front shocks with 1.4 hole, in one hole top shock tower, diffs 5 7 3, the rest is out of the box...... NOW for the result,................

happy to say i finished 10 th with the only serpent there, im on cloud nine for my first ever EP race and to finish 10 th in the final what can i say, the XRAY TRUGGY is now retired and i am on the hunt for the NITRO SERPENT TRUGGY to go with this little beast.

Ive had a quick run for 5mins to bed the diffs in slightly and the center diff has leaked a tiny tiny amount onto the chassis under the spur, is this normal or has the diff had slightly to much oil put in?

After the first run I've seen the diffs leak a little bit. The o rings need a chance to expand with some oil and they will seal up. One thing I do is put mobil 1 grease on the outdrive in the little groove before I put it into the diff case and gear.
