Welcome to the snake pit!
AKA City blocks and/or Enduros are great tires for loose dry or wet dirt conditions. they even work great on tracks that are mixed of hard pack and loose dirt. You can't go wrong with city blocks.

I'm not ordering from AbsolutHobbyz anymore. The first order they shipped me a CB front shock tower when I ordered an alum one. I had to pay to ship that back. Then I asked for grey rear springs for the price difference and they ship me blue. As well they forgot a anti-roll bar wire I asked for. I'm tired of wasting my time with these people.
Clockworks and Amains customer service has been outstanding, I'll stick with them.

thats very unlike of absolute. I have made lots of orders with them and never had a issue with them. Not questioning you but, are you sure they made you pay to ship the wrong tower back? The one time I heard of a wrong item they shipped, They shipped the guy the correct part and they enclosed a return shipping envelope. Send a pm or email to Chad Phillips and im sure he will get this straight for you

My car has arrived as well, and im almost build it.
Im setting porkchops setup i need advice with shocks, i use oils in CPS and i need to recalculate from WT but i find that Losi WT is not the same as Asso WT.
I put tapered pistons and webbed bladders. What oils and holes in pistons i need to use in outdoor track? I need to know what manufacturer of oil You use to recalculate to CPS

I did send an email to Chad, he was the one who shipped the wrong part to begin with. I asked him to ship me the correct part and send a return label He Told me to ship it back and he would credit me shipping. . then Joe called me. Joe sent me the wrong color spring and no sway bar wire I asked for. Perhaps phone orders are not there best skill, but I'm not wasting time with them anymore. Shipping stuff back is a pain in the ass. 2 wrong orders in a row............

anyone know how I get the steering balls OUT other then taking a dremel to the plastic.?

Questions?? transponder?

What's the problem with the transponder under the esc I'm building mine and it's clear the radio tray has a spot under the esc for the transponder but the manual shows that u should mount it behind the servo! Any words on this?

Finally got my 811 to the track the other day was very happy, I need to get the rust off my offroad driving, but I have to say this is the best 1/8th scale I've driven. Here is some pictures of my ride.

I see a lot of you guys talking about piston hole size 1.3, assuming you are drilling them out. What size are they stock?
Does the hole size really make that big of a difference?

I got to run my car for about an hour tonight for the first time. Still need a lot of dialing in to do but love'n it so far.
I was using most of Franks DNC setup, but just found out he uses a different brand piston, so a much higher oil.
I did have some problems with it wanting to nose dive a lot, but I'll get it worked out.

I usually use associated, or losi. There cheaper and the associated bottles tell you the wt and cst value
