Is there any wire sticking out past the wire crimp area? If there's too much wire in that area it can push the plastic tab on the housing up and not allow the pin to lock in.

Have you tried a higher ride height? I tried that low on the local clay track once and it did strange things over some moderate jumps. I raised it up 3-4 mm and it was greatly improved.

I know I'm in the minority, but I never run wings on my trucks. I don't know if it helps any with nose down/up attitude, I just don't like replacing them when they crack lol.

I'm not sure if you meant to say expo there, but exponential will not alter the strength of the brakes. Only end point and/or dual rate will change the strength as far as radio adjustments go.
