Default Hobbywing motor temp sensor accuracy?

I've got a new hobbywing G3 2250 motor and XR8 pro esc and I noticed that at room temp the two temperatures don't agree. The esc reads ~70 degrees and the motor reads ~100 degrees. This is with the wifi module or a program box. Anybody else have this issue?
