Fastest car types?

I’m a real newbie to on-road... I am wondering what are the fastest and slowest car types around an average track?

I.e. Pan, F1, TC etc.

Particularly interested in some 2WD vs. 4WD discussion.

Pros and cons?

How do people run 5S?

Wouldn’t you need to have mismatched batteries - and therefore a weight differential between the left and right hand side of the car?

Solid axle vs. independent suspension?

I know this is probably a bit of a heated topic but I’m honestly curious.

I’m guessing SA is better for low speed, rough stuff and IS is better for high speed cornering and jumping?

if so, I’m...

1/10 4WD SCT - upgrading from 2000KV motor and 60A ESC?

I’ve got a 1/10 4WD SCT and it has the factory 2000KV unsensored brushless motor and 60A ESC in it. With stock gearing, I would estimate that it’s capable of about 45kmh (about 28mph). My batteries...

Keeping metal screws in plastic parts?

My issue is that my front bumper is partly held on by two metal screws which thread into a very thin and flimsy piece of plastic. When I have a prang, the screws easily pull out of the shallow...

C ratings are confusing and highly muddled by false claims.

Long story short, I would be looking for a battery that claims an output of around 80A (twice what your ESC claims it can output).

A...
