I recommend looking for a charger that is capable of a decent discharge rate. Either that or build a dedicated discharger using resistors.

I bought an inexpensive 60 watt soldering iron from the source and replacement tips on eBay from China. A little flux for soldering makes it easier to solder.

I would start by removing the pinion and spinning the spur gear by hand and seeing how freely it turns. There will be a slight drag but you can usually tell if a bearing is stuck.

At my local tracks they usually will not allow you to run both novice and other classes except a couple exceptions like the factory slash class. I think that is the best way to go.

Perhaps I misunderstood the question. If your not having brownout issues. You don't need to worry about a bec or a glitch buster. Like roleof said just make sure your end points are set and go.

I'd go with the glitch buster personally. Because the Bec's of the esc's are probably fine. That will be the least expensive route. Best option would be replace the radio system.
