I’m kind of stuck in the middle. The local rc scene seems to be all 5th scale and trail trucks so finding a used Tekno is a long shot. I love to build kits but I don’t think I’ll benefit from a $1000...

I would be all over a good condition used tekno. Only issue is they’re near impossible to find where I live and I won’t have something used shipped. Too many issues in the past unfortunately.

Just buy them, they'll work. If they seem to get hot tear them apart and check the connection. Not much you can do when it comes to adapters, sometimes you get good ones and sometimes you don't.

The kraton is an awesome kit and will cost you probably $300+ less. But really its hard to compare the two. One is more of a budget truck (kraton) and one is a race kit. Both are awesome vehicles...
