v1's are still the go-to on most dirt 2wd buggy setups. I don't think Rivkin uses them for bashing or novice classes.

Stick with avid 1$ bearings for your traxxas. If you want a little less drag, get metal shielded avids, spray out the grease and oil them.

Keep in mind that a lot of top racers use cheap bearings...

Don't overtighten that screw either, it snaps pretty easily.

The 406 is limited to 47amps per input channel, and that was probably why you were limited to 29 amps on 4s using a 12v power supply. Going to the 12v 85amp supply wasn't going to make a difference.

He means that stadium truck racing tends to be cleaner. SCT bodies allow drivers to rub fenders, and take out others easier without getting tied up. It's a lot harder to do that in stadium.
