I have found the HW G4 and Helix are not an extremely torquey motor. Especially the Helix. However, they have their place on certain tracks. I have not had a chance to test an R1 yet.

I tested the R2 17.5 Elite. It performed quite well. I would consider it as one of the top motors out.
