The only upgrade that I have seen is Traxxas part #8940X. These are the harden steel pins off the XMaxx that people use in the Max. They are the captured pins and not the screw in ones.

PV- any reason why only the 18 XT2 has the new larger O-rings and not the 18's XB2 or XB4? I was going to run the bigger O-Rings on the 17 XB4 unless I am missing something? Thanks again.
