Been wondering when thread would start. Definitely did not see it coming. I’ve got 2 XMaxx, so no real plan of adding it at this time. But will see down the road

I’m already imagining how many will get 6s system instantly. Won’t even give the stock system a chance.

They tend to use different sized servos. Soon as people get their hands on them, should find out what fits. And I’m sure few aftermarket companies are looking at every picture available.

its not...they list the length in the specs as including the shaft,
its a 36x70 can so 4s is all i would throw at it. Way too many kv for 6s as it would over rev.
However it looks like you could squeeze a 4070 e revo motor on there. Seems to have revo diffs so with the mod 1 gearing done properly and some upgraded CVDs you could run 6s.
its a cool concept but you just dont get enough truck for $550. another $50 and you could have yourself a notorious. If the price were $100 less id grab one just to have but oh well..time to wait for the used market

I’ve got other purchases that are priority before I consider adding anything. Thanks for the motor info.

Price is wayyyyy too high to have plastic driveshalfts and a modified slash drive train.
For the same money or less you can buy an Arrma Kraton/Talion/Outcast and have a full metal heavy duty 1/8 scale drive train. Plus you could take it to a track with just a tire change. Come on Traxxas, stop being a parts company and make a good platform.
