to clarify, it feels like you are driving a double one way car, even though I had a spool in the front of my car... Good for smooth round driving style... Barry's car squared the corners off more...

Zigzag, run lighter oil in your car than stock... Try 30 or 25 wt oil (all around on your car)... will make a world of a difference..

Barry was overall TQ... He TQ'd the 1st and 2nd round, I TQ'd 3rd and 4th, but his combined time was faster than mine (he had a 26 lapper)

take all the shims out of the drivetrain, at most leave one in there to space the pinion up a little. this should help.

Another thing is not to tighten too much the two screws on the bulkhead cap...
