those are the v1 shocks from the t4. the t4.1...

those are the v1 shocks from the t4. the t4.1 has the v2 shocks with the "cap" on the bottom. the t4 has cvd's (cup on the bone), while the t4.1 has cva's (cup on the axle).

They are the exact same size as the stock...

They are the exact same size as the stock Associated ones, a standard AS568A-006 O-ring. Just select the correct AS568A dash number and you can try different materials and durometers if you want.

I use these o-rings from McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/#90025k123/=bzdl3x). They last a very long time before they show signs of leaking :)

i used to run around 75/27 in truck and 69:39 in buggy, with max timing on a duo2 motor back in the no boost days... i'd adjust the pinion size up/down to keep motor temps near 160-170F.

no idea. maybe so it's not designed the same way as the mip cvd, which came out in the early 90's? i do think that the retaining clip on the cva works better though.

that's the optional ball diff for the sc10. the ball diff outdrives fit the tranny case for the gear diff, which is stock for the rtr/kit sc10.

i use a tiny blob of shoe goo on the end of the pin, then insert that end first into the hole in the axle, so it smears inside the hole. then scrap away any extra.

there is no rebound when you push all the oil out the bleeder cap. how could there be any as there is no extra air inside the shock? if you want rebound, pull some air inside the shock by lowering...
