broke the black piece thats inside 87040

the purple rubber thing that is connected from the muffler to engine the purple thing part# 87040 has a pastic piece thats black inside. Well i broke it do i need to replace it right away.

i was told to reask this question here so I hope I did the right way.

Will now it looks like I will be getting the axial .28 because the hobby store said he
has customers with sts engines blowing...

axial vs sts

Need help with this I know that the Axial .28 and the sts.28 are both
great engines but between these 2 ONLY which one is faster and more reliable. I know it depends on tuning and such but over all...

these guys i was talking to said they made the motors for hpi and you don't wan't to go bigger then their .28 because the .32 is way too fast and is hard to cantrol and theres no point in running...

i was told to buy a engine that the company that makes this engine makes the savage motor the companys called axial its suposed to be green has any one heard of this company and is it a good engine .

when iam tuning my .25 savage iam tuning for a temp of 220f but in the engine manual it says do not turn the high speed more then 1 1/2 turns if iam going for 22o on a temp gun it will be more then...

Its a blue dura trax fail safe and Im using 4 green juice recaharge able batters.
The guy at the hobby store said if you want to save money down the
road go buy recharge able batties.

having problems with the failsafe

I got a failsafe unit on my savage but in the last past runs the green light keeps coming on but the batteries are charged and when i try to reset not much happens so is there any thing else i can do.

i think its my ignitor because when i put it on the charger for 10 min then try again she trys to start up but when it starts it dies again.

bad fuel was the starting problem and i was crashing on the rear still learning to land on all 4 wheels as for the body it fits a little better after bending the towers.

But i am on my 3rd one way...

I Still have half a bottle of blue thunder and every time i stop for a temp check it stops running never had this problem before but when this fuels done i will try a fuel with less oil...
