Sell the old ones if they work. The new ones are much different and carry our latest software and hardware improvements.

Default Heat Shrink Covering esc Posts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see in Volitions post that he has heat shrink covering the entire post. I used to do that, but I was told a while ago that the posts act as heat sinks, and covering them with heat shrink makes the esc run hotter.

I get to try my new RS Pro tomorrow at Wednesday night races.

You can only update the software via PC at the moment. Chances are however there's not an update available so you're fine.

If you use our Mobile app it would tell you it needed to be updated. Current software is v258.

Setups can be found here: Tekin - ESC Setup Files

You're correct. We're not fans of shrink wrapping the posts. They do reduce heat and heat is bad to begin with.

So this esc can handle all 2 pole 540 motors, correct? Such as 3.5?

Could it work well perhaps for a drag car perhaps?

I am curious about the RS Pro BE 1s, are the specs the same as the 2s? Does it have a voltage booster?

does this RS PRO ESC work on 1S in a 12th car with no booster/rec pack or does one have to get RS PRO 1S ESC.

Tekin - RS PRO 1/10 Brushless ESC

1S will be needed. Rec.pk./Booster will be needed with the regular RS Pro.
