I've gone through this thread but can't find a certain answer. Does the android smart link feature do the same things that the proline box does?

Yes, it does. I use my old Samsung phone to do all my trackside ESC tuning on my cars and my sons buggy which also has a MMax Pro. I’m looking forward to an iPhone app to use my current phone.

Anyone got a setting tip to get the most punch out of the Pico and MMax speed controls in spec classes? Want the most aggressive setting and then work my way back.

One thing I noticed versus others was there cars just had a bit more hair trigger feel. They were usingTekin escs which from what they said seem to be tuned that agressively with more general settings.

Outside of that, great performance.

Thanks. Ordered the Pico 17.5 V2 combo, can't wait to try it out. I also threw in the aluminum screw kit that I'll throw on after a few runs to see if there is a noticeable difference.

thanks, I think I am 2 above the lowest Throttle frequency setting, so will give that a look. Already run the other two.

How are you guys liking the V2 motors on turf? Any tips for that?

Default Pico USB connection issue

Having issues connecting my Pico via USB.
Doesn't connect to my phone or my laptop. Using the supplied USB cable, even my PC doesn't pick up that anything is connected. Can't find it in my device manager at all either.
Am I doing something wrong?
I thought maybe the reason why my phone wouldn't connect / detect it is because it needed a firmware update, but I can't even update it!
Any help appreciated.
Cheers, Dan.

Dan, make sure nothing is plugged into the Pico when you do the update. No battery, no fan. just the esc to the computer via usb.

With the release of a 1/8 ESC looking to be in the future and with Maclan in the battery arena now, will there be 4S lipo batteries on the way? Looking at pack options for the future and I am liking the 5mm bullet 4S lipo setup I got in here. Be cool if maclan offered that.

Roger that. Thanks Nico, I'm pretty sure I had the battery connected while trying to do it.
I'll give it a go with the battery disconnected when I get home from work!

All sorted, all working A1.
Main issue was the USB cable, must have been faulty. I used another one I had laying around and it connected straight away, to my laptop and my google pixel 2 xl ( with the Google pixel USB C adapter ).
Thanks for the help!
Cheers, Dan.
