Thanks. So appears the "e" version is for electric only, slightly cheaper and a little heavier (0.4g!) - and has a built in aerial.

So if it's 30% faster (when using the 304) than a 4PKS-R with a FASST receiver, how much faster/slower is the X when using a FASST compared to FHSS I wonder???

so..., from experience, how many of you can you tell the difference in latency between the FHSS on a 4PL and the FASST on the 4PK?

Where did you read this?

Why has FHSS now become faster than FASST?

I thought the FHSS technology wasn't as "good or fast" as FASST technology. Has futaba given up on FASST in favor of FHSS??

So Futaba has made their lower priced receivers better than their more expensive ones? They just shot themselves in. The foot and lowered profit margins by making their top of the line receivers worthless because they are slower than the budget FHSS ones? Doubtful

It's noticable when I borrow my buddies 4pl with FHSS compared to my FASST and 4pkrs

"The response of T-FHSS system in 4PX is optimized and 30% faster than 4PKSR."

the 4PKSR only supports FASST thus the new T-FHSS IS 30% faster than FASST in the 4PKSR

don't use old radios as a test, wait and see how fast the 4px is.....

I got a feeling there will be a 4PKX radio that uses FASST released at a later date that will trump the FHSS 4PX radio.

They are updating the FHSS system with the PX and I believe they will update the FASST radio later.

Most likely a new FASST Rx with "faster" response times.
There is no purpose in having multiple high-end models, so the 4PK line will move over to the 4PX. Just makes sense.
But seriously, at what point does the human reflex not be able to tell the difference, as it gets closer to 0ms?

1st paragraph - 2nd sentence.

It's saying the radio is faster. It doesn't say FHSS is 30% faster. If I'm reading that correctly it would mean the radio is faster so running FHSS is faster and FASST will be faster as well. The FHSS and FASST technology isn't changing, just the radio speed.


Soooo, maybe it means this is the flagship model and more budget ones will come later......4PLX

Well whatever happens I'll buy the PX.

But my question still remains. If it is 30% faster for new PX paired with FHSS compared to PK-R & FASST, what is the new PX like when paired with FASST? Still 30% or is it more? Is it less for some reason as it is optimised for FHSS?
