I'm still waiting for the Pro-Tek inserts to become available. I mean really how long does it take to cut 100 pieces of foam?! |
Got impatient of waiting for a nice case available here in the states as well so I took the plunge.. Got a $27 speed mind 4px case from RcMart with a freaking $23 shipping fee... I almost paid for another bag with that shipping cost... Oh well.. Still waiting for the bag to show up. It better be good...:)

For example - @6,650 Yen Added with international shipping cost to your address ++ import duties/taxes applied in your country. http://www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp/store/...ducts_id=35440 :) |
Wish they could have it made it a bit slimmer. I have the 4PK one and its essentially the same dimensions....looks tough enough to survive a nuclear blast, but fat. And whats with the big 4PX logo....screams "Hey, there is an expensive radio inside, steal me!"
On the other hand, the japanese yen is not strong against the US dollar, so hopefully the price drops. |
I've tested the following MicroSD cards in my 4PX:
1. 8GB HC, Sony - formatted as FAT32 - Successful 2. 16GB HC, SanDisk - formatted as FAT32 - Successful 2. 32GB HC I, SanDisk - formatted as FAT32 - Successful I tested Screen Captures and Telemetry Logging to all three cards without issue. Both files are created and have contents when seen on my PC. Which leads to my next question. Page 30 of the User Guide refers to a "telemeter log converter" app that would be available from the Futaba home page. Has anyone found this application? Telemetry Logging is enabled by configuring a programmable button on the 4PX. Once you select a button such as PS1, you will likely also want to set the type to "Alt." otherwise you must hold the button to log. If you let go, the file is saved. The Alt. mode allows the button to function in a more desirable fashion for this feature. Note - I have not attempted updates as that process has already been completed on my 4PX. However, the 8GB card worked fine for updating. |

Found a carrying bag for my 4PX during my recent visit to Hong Kong. It's made by Team C.

I got a 64M card to work by simply format it with DOS32 format.
