I've had my 4PX for about 1 month and have had no issues what-so-ever. I run 3 different types of RX's too: R614FS, R2104GF and an R604FS and have had zero glitching with any of those model RXs. The first thing I did after un-boxing my radio was to perform the firmware update and then I began binding to my RXs. I love my radio!

Could somebody please tell me the step by step method for updating the software or where I can find this information please? Using a 8gb card and just can't get it to work. I know I'm probably doing something wrong... Cheers |
Make sure your SD card is formatted in FAT32 format
ensure you unzip the firmware folder and place it in the root of the SD Card power up the 4PX while holding down the END button and off it goes. If you need help I can do it for you if you come to HH tomorrow. |

His 8GB Card should be fine. However I suspect the speed of some cards is an issue as well.

If I go the PC1450 route, I'll likely cut two templates and "Hot Wire" the foam out using the custom cut templates on top and bottom of the non- perforated foam as a guide for the hot wire. |
