Default Thanks

Thanks. I know the radio has a low voltage cutoff. Yes i am talking about the life battery from protek. New to life battery not rc. Instructions say to cycle the battery 20 times to start discharge no lower than 30%. Just wondering if everybody does that or if they just use the battery Straight Out of the Box

I used the battery after charging, then when not in use for a length of time/months, I used storage charge. JMO.

What is currently the smallest receiver that works with the 4PX?

I ordered one of these off backorder from RC Mart and was happy to wait but I got an email from customer service today telling me it had been discontinued. I am not sure if that was the package I ordered or the radio itself.

So is a replacement coming out for the 4PX?

Futaba 4PX 4-Channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS Transmitter w/R304SB x2 Receiver w/ AA Battery Holder #4PX 2.4G w/o Battery,

It seems to have been sold out at the usual HK & Japanese online shops for a while, but still in stock at A Main, Tower & Absolute Hobbies. Haven't heard anything re: a new model. I managed to pick up a new 4PX at a local hobby shop for a very good price including a Futaba LiFe - very happy with it so far.

That combo was discontinued a while back. The 4PX still seems to be plentiful from the US distributor. Doesn't mean a new model isn't coming soon, just that the 4PX hasn't been discontinued.

7PX?. Well Mine is 2 years old. I guess it will be on time for an upgrade. Hoping that receivers that I have would be compatible and is NOT android based. Hope the rumor is true. I love my 4PX.

It looks pretty similar to the 4PX except for the longer screen. The wheel mount and switches are all the same. So is the antenna.

That isn't an Android OS. It looks just like the current 4PX firmware with some new additions. Android would be a deal killer for me. The Spectrum has been a disaster.
