So after some track time, I love this radio so far. Best thing is I was able to set up my four cars. And…. did not even have to open the manual!!! Great screen menu’s!!!

Anybody have a quick run down to program say channel 3 into a 3 position switch? Im trying to make it so i can extend my winch line out to neutral setting and then retract the winch. Any one done this?

For 3 position switch (for selected dial (DT1~DT6)): Dial select -> Function="Channel 3 control" -> Step="100"

Any reason to upgrade my 4ps-R for this? I only have 24 hours on it. Thinking of selling and upgrading to current technology, but all these problems have me scratching my head thinking why. From previous 4pk owners, what is the upside?

I'm looking to pick up a new radio for myself. Currently have a regular M12. Was debating on the M12s or the 4PX. Banzaihobby is having great deals on the airtronics stuff right now but they don't have it in stock and im trying to figure out when they will... I personally have had zero issues with my m12 but ive had it for a while. I am reading about what seems to be quite a few issues with the need to clean the steering / throttle pots and this is kinda turning me off to the idea of this radio. Is this a real issue or merely a here and there kinda thing?

Anyone do anything to protect their LCD screen? mine had a smudge on it, i steamed it up with my breath, wiped with a cotton long sleeve T, and it scratched the crap out of it.

Just the nature of the beast or are there solutions?

I just bought a ipad4 screen protector and cut it out to fit the screen. It's enough to make 4 protectors on the 4px.

I've had mine for a year now and race almost every week. No issues so far.

i want a tighter feeling trigger. I see Futaba and other branded alloy triggers that describe them selves as S and SS. Do these reduce the gap between the two triggers??

I want to order one and just wanted to make sure im getting more that just an alloy version of the original

Deadband

When I have my trigger set at 50/50, deadband is perfect. When I set it to 70/30, the first 1/4 travel is dead. How do I get full throttle travel when the trigger is set 70/30. This is with a TLR22T 2.0 with an SMC RF-120 ESC, R304SB receiver, and SMC Totemic 8.5T 2 pole motor.

pretty sure you need to recalibrate the ESC once u set transmitter to 70/30
