I just picked up a lightly used 4PX with a life batt. used from a buddy and it's still running the 1.2E and I currently can't find a microSD card. Is there anything I should know about running it like this for now, any issues?
So far I have used it for running the electric and it's butter smooth and I think it's the first purchase that actually improved my driving but I'm coming from a DX3R lol
I'm running nitro tomorrow and I have the starting setup, travels failsafe etc but always being nervous about a screaming nitro buggy up against the fence I'd be interested in any advice in general or until I do the update. The update is recent (Aug 8) so I'm thinking this should be fine.

If it's running fine now you don't have to update the firmware unless there's a feature that was added you want to use. Other than that you should be fine. Running it as is.

I am trying to understand trigger switchpoint and the whole neutral brake issue on this transmitter; if someone has a link to a site that is helpful it would be appreciated.

My question is this: what is trigger switchpoint? Is that the point when braking is applied after the trigger is decreased?. I noticed the segmented line in the throttle curve portion is probably that point.

If your brake ratio is 50/50, then is the neutral brake value a moot point?

A whole barrage of questions I know; I just need clarification on the brake functions.

Assuming you can still make the rent, yeah absolutely. Lovely radio noticed a difference in racing immediately.

Awesome but now I'm having a hard time choosing between the futaba 4px or m12s

How many models will you be using this with? The receivers and servos are cheaper than Airtronics.

Funnily enough I borrowed an m12s on Sunday for a few laps. Lovely fast radio but very different hand feel. As I am used to the 4px it felt much heavier and a little cumbersome but I am sure that may be a benefit to some. Before dropping that amount you should try both in hand.

The M12s owner actually liked my 4px better but he had a load of rx from before so won't be changing.

Hi out there,

i love the look and feel of the Jconcepts Dirt-Tech steering wheel for the Sanwa M12.
Is there a solution so i can fit this steering wheel on my 4PX, or is it maybe plug and play?

Hi,

A while ago i had a compatibility issue with 4PX/R304SB and KO BSX2 servo, servo wouldn't switch on, i gave up and ended up buying futaba servo all good. I still have that servo (has been working perfectly with sanwa M11x system)and would like to try again, does anyone know if revised rx R314SB resolves this issue?

Thanks.

I run a BSx2 one10 Response with mine, R304SBE, you didn't set it in analog servo mode on the radio did you?

i have tried all analog and digital, turned off telemetry as well, couldn't work it out for the life of me. had similar reports from others and finally KO suggested a compatibility issue (maybe the rx was turning servo into program mode) as when i unplugged and replugged servo (with tx on) it would fire up. interesting your combo works, wonder if its TX firmware, are you running 4pxr ur updated firmware?

I'll be trying with R614FS (when I receive it) as I heard someone has success with this combo

I just updated my firmware to 1.4E, had hope after your post - no joy for me  btw i have the exact same servo and RX combo you have, will have to wait for delivery of R614FS.
