I picked up one of these, the all aluminum low profile one for a mod sedan. These are fantastic servos. I've noticed they're not quite as smooth if you turn them by hand as a Futaba BLS551 but once in the car, they're incredibly fast and incredibly precise.
DEFINITELY worth the money!

TOO MANY SERVOS, lol. So I won a $35 dollar off coupon at the SS race. So I figured this was a great time to check out the xpert servos. I have to spend $100, lol. So I was looking at the servos just over $100. The all alum ones are overkill imo. But I dont understand what is different between the 96, 101 and 106 dollar servos. I will be using this in a 2wd buggy. I was looking at the $97 xpert LP servo, but I have to spend 100, rofl. So what is the difference between the servos?

Wildcat - there are a couple of differences. Some can be torque or speed. Some can be case design. You asked about the low profile servos. Here are the three
PI-3431 ---- plastic top and bottom, metal sleeve around core (Savox style)
PI-3401 --- plastic top, metal core - strong base for gear operation
PM-3401 -- All aluminum construction. designed for durability.

So why do the Lee Martin Servos in the LV version? The HV servos are priced about the same and the ability to go to 8.4 volts is nice. the 6.6 rating is kinda useless in electric, because we dont use LIFe packs
