Perfect, thank you very much for the information and the link. Hmm looking at the video shows that there is no buzzing sound when it tries to stay in center. In my case you can actually hear a sound when it is in center. Well for the moment my most pressing question was the slow centering though.

Well I can't say for 100% sure that the anti buzzing software is in the entire Xpert servo range. But i know it's in the WR range.

There is a couple of options though. The below listed suggestions is if you use a Castle Creations BEC. The reason why I have chosen that BEC over others is it's fully programmable with the Castle Link.
1. If you want to use the full potential of the SI-4431 and you don't use the logging feature in your RX8 Gen2 ESC you could use a BEC and hok it up to the receiver, doing so means you will have to unplug the + (red) pin in the connector from the ESC

2. If you want to keep the logging feature on your RX8 Gen2 ESC You can do pretty much the same as above but instead of connecting the BEC to the receiver you can connect it directly to the servo but where you connect the signal wire from the servo to the receiver.

Well my humble oppinion would be to set the voltage to 6V as the SI-4431 is not a HV servo so if you set the output voltage from the RX8 Gen2 ESC you risk frying the servo. It's not designed for a power supply larger than 6.6V

Yes you can use the HotWire for your Tekin ESC's but just keep in mind that in order to being able to program a Castle BEC you will need a Castle Link as well.
I use my HotWire often with my Tekin ESC's with great enjoyment.

As Hitikiri said, the SI4431 is not a high voltage servo, so would not suggest trying to push more through it. Even with a 3s battery the 267oz of torque of at 6.6v should be more than enough to help get the wheels turned at any speed (rest is going to depend on the tires and chassis).

Sanwa M12S Just came in the mail yesterday , was ordered 2 months ago .. Holy Smokes!! I had ordered 3 xpert servo's & installed them waiting on transmitter. Was looking through the m12s manual & came across where it specified digital or you wont get full speed out of transmitter etc. I looked through the xpert site & couldnt find where it said servo was digital.. Then I lost Sleep!!

Well you won't have to lose any more sleep that's for sure.
I am pretty sure the Xpert servos couldn't even have the advanced features that they have if they were analog.
Pretty much all decent servos you buy today is digital unless you actively hunt for analog ones.

Anyway to get rid of that annoying intermittent sound when servo is "0" ed. Was watching vid in the waterproof units that addressed this issue. Kinda was hoping that that technology spilled over to the 4000 series as well.. Just say'in
