Ran a glitch buster last weekend. Still conked out when I hit the boards, but less frequently. Switched to another RX (SR3250) and didn't have the problem anymore.
I did have an issue with interference from a FlySky radio, but that's a whole other thing.

I'll have to check but mine pairs up with an SR300 so I think I'm in the clear.
Does Horizon say there is potential for a fix in a future software update? Seens dumb for this to do on purpose, lotta competition in the TX/RX game and Spektrum is not the most popular already.
If you dont have issues Spektrum is awesome, but seems to suck if you have issues.

I'll be testing Blue MX SR3100 clones when they arrive. Said to work while Orange RX clones dont, if your TX can bind to SR3100.
I hope they realise clones DO NOT hurt their business but actually help it. More will get the TX if they have a viable 10$ RX source, not all will use clones but those that do will still be using a Spektrum TX to run them. Going out of their way to block clones hurts business, often they hurt all customers not just Clone users, as look at it now, new TX not backwards compatible is pissing off a lot of users and CERTAINLY deterred some from getting a Spektrum TX, so bad some are switching Brands...

I just got my DX4R Pro on Friday, So far I love it. and it was a major upgrade from my GT3C. The only thing I have done to it is the LifePO4 batteries. At my local Frys they sell a 4 pack of AA LifePO4 batteries for 10$ so I figured what the heck. I just bridged the battery tray so I only need to run 2 of the cells. So far I started the day Sunday at noon with 6.9v on the full charge and ended the day with 6.7v at 9pm, that's pretty impressive to me.

Not sure if this is accurate but spoke with Horizon directly today. I bought the DX4S w/o AVC and it will not bind with any receiver other than dsmr. CS said both the DX4S and DX4R Pro will only work with dsmr and no more backwards compatiblity. I told him I wanted to return it and initially he said "no" but after explaining FALSE ADVERTISING to him on the Horizon website showing it working with either DSMR or DSM2, they are letting me return it for a full refund!!!

Hey Horizon, would some sort of "heads up" announcement been that hard?
