I have noticed that all problems with any glitches are gone since switching to the NIZN batteries. I was using the rechargeable 1.2 volt batteries, and this radio does not like low voltage at all. It really needs a 5th battery added. If you use this do not go under 6 volts. Absolutely do not use 1.2 volt batteries. Okay I changed it.

I saw that also that you could charge them on a nimh program. I bought the charger and batteries(Genix) off ebay and picked up an extra set of batteries, and alternate them out. I still see 7.1 volts after they charge, and can easily race for two weeks before charging. Mine rarely drop below 6 volts. They are the green batteries, and the plug in white charger, no problems whatsoever.

I got mine yesterday, waiting for sunday to test it !!

Slow response can also be a limit of your pc if this is the first time you are playing vrc, turn on the option for FPS (frame per second) and make sure you are over 30, really 60-200 is best. |
Ah so I am at 13-14fps in the game

These radios love the higher voltage batteries. I noticed my range and speed improved dramatically after using the 1.6 volt batteries. If you are running a Savox servo, be sure to use them, unless it is the new brushless version.

anybody having issues with the antenna pulling off the board on the SR2000 receiver as mine did and wasnt pulled that i know of and just sits in a TC.I tryed soldering it but still has a range issue.
Its strange how they have done back to soldering the antenna directly onto the board as the origional receivers were like and I had issues once with the antenna coming off one of these but the 3100 etc has a plug in antenna which is much more reliable. also the push in antenna tube always needs pushing back in so whether this made the antenna come off I am not sure...frustrating. |

I use a little drop of shoe goo to hold the tube in place

Yes I had 1 come off of mine. I put the little fold over on the top of the tube. May have been why it came off. I don't even put the tube in the case now. Luckily it was under warranty and I got a new 1.

I guess it would be best not to use the tube and shoe goo where the antennae comes out. I am having no problems whatsoever since going to a brushless servo and the 1.6 batteries. The radio is working great, and it is so quick.
