Also have you tried upping the BEC voltage in the RX8 via the hotwire to 7.4v? |

Thank you for the immediate help. I figured it out, I was using one of my savox servos that I had to repair the wires. Must of caused excess amp draw. Dropped in another savox from my nitro 3.0, no problem now. Im impressed with this tekin setup, super smooth and so easy to use.

Also, I don't think anyone mentioned, but your fan is mounted upside down. Always mount sticker side down. ;)

In my experience, it's hit or miss with those servos. I have two, same exact model, in two different cars. One needs a huge receiver cap and the other does fine without one.

I'm sure this has been asked but I am getting read to order, does the gen2 combo come with the adapter to plug the hotwire into the esc directly or do I need to purchase it separately?

How long is the warranty on the tekin t8? My rotor just failed and wanted to see if it would be cover by warranty. It also took my esc out with it

If I wanted to most closely replicate the feel of a nitro buggy with my E buggy , would using "push control " and a throttle curve be the best way to go about it ? Thoughts ...

I got my RX8 and 1900kv all wired up in my buggy yesterday, no problems, everything works fine except one thing. I have 3 different 4S batteries, one protek 4300mah and 2 SMC racing 6500mah. Both of the SMC packs I believe may be bad because after a full balance charge (which they took the charge just fine) when plugged into the ESC I get the lights blinking for low voltage cutoff. I charged the Protek pack on the same charger and that battery ran fine the whole time all the way to LVC. I'm guessing I just have two bad batteries, right?

Curve is more to tame down your throttle finger, same as expo on your radio but more effective IMO. Current limiter would be more like the not so instant softer initial acceleration of a nitro with a clutch. |

Yep, push. I run 3-5 indoor and 10-20 outdoor. 20 for a big sweeping outdoor track, 10+ for a normal size outdoor track coming from nitro.

Thanks . Just what I was looking for . Now , I have the impression that the higher the value the longer the "push" time wise ?
Then set to 20 and do the same... longer duration. Touch brake and push is disabled. It is only when you release throttle and coast. Love push, one of the many reasons all my cars are Tekin powered :D |
Nice ...

I wondered about that. I took a gamble when I mounted mine. 50% chance of right or wrong. I didnt see anything in the insturction when I did mount mine about how to do the fan. I know I'm getting older and all but; did I miss something ? HMMM.......
