Funny thing... had a backup gen1 forever and haven't needed it (I think almost 2 years now). Let my buddy use it because his brushless hobbies fried. What do ya know... that same day I finally needed a backup ESC :lol: Positive bullet came unsoldered, wire was old and should have been replaced a bullet swap out or two ago. No smoke, no smell, new power wires... would not power up. Removed switch, still no power. Bought a gen2 to finish the day, same wires that were on the ESC I was changing out. So I guess I will upgrade my gen1 to a gen2 and sell my other gen1 when my buddy is done with it or he can just buy it from me... probably his best option. |

Solder joint. Less chance of fatigue. I'll consider cutting it off. This kit was built for just 4 races in our Winter races then full tear down till summer. It's going to be cold. No heat. -3c or so. |
Hey everyone,
I need advice please. Just wired up my rx8 gen 2 in my E 3.0 last night, without having the my 1950 t8i hooked up yet. My savox 1256tg servo was seeming to have brown out issues. Never had a problem before using an Orion esc with the same servo. Moving the wheels left to right fast it locks up for a second and all the LEDs on the rx8 blink. Instructions say receiver is losing power, is that a brown out? I welcome any suggestions. Thanks |
Sounds like a brownout, do you have a cap to throw in the RX to try your test with again?
