what is the part # for a RX8 Gen 2 fan replacement?
TEKTT3812 uses the wrong plug that plugs into the ESC. I know I could buy a fan and switch connectors, but I just want to plug it in. |

I just got a new gen2 RX8, can I run the same exact settings on it that I ran on my gen1 or is there anything I have to adjust?

Yes, both at 7.4. I added this because previously we had intermittant issues on all our vehicles with a 7955 on a gen 1 until we added a glitch buster. Now there is no need for this even with two servos.

The TT3832 is the correct part # for the Gen 2 fan, the picture shown is incorrect however.

Any chance those are covered under warranty :weird: :) |
In general fans are not warranted. If it was new out of the package and it failed, we will look at them.
These are tiny cpu fans that if they get to inject rocks and enough dirt will break. IF you run in a loose dirt condition it's best to make a lexan deflector to prevent dirt from hitting the esc, etc. For example the MIP trucks use a lexan cover to prevent the front tires from spraying the servo and esc: http://miponline.com/store/media/myp...cowling-sw.jpg |
Hi @ll,
sorry if this was already asked, but couldn't find anything on the tekin site. I have problems with the data logger, hope there is a trick to fix it... Last Saturday I had my first runs with Gen2 and was really exited! It handles great and was a harm to fine tune while using data logger for temps and rpm while tuning punch and timing. Now after I read and reset the data log about 5-6 times it's done. When I click Download the status bar appears just a second and the window stays empty... I tested deleting and log new data a few times, but it's always a empty window :( Tested PC and Laptop, same shit, no software issue. Any ideas? Someone had the same trouble? Greetz |

They were before, as explained it worked fine a few times.
Normaly when there is data the download status bar appears more than 10 seconds. Now only less than a second, like there is no data... |

Already tried it this way about 3-4 times ;)

Funny, I tried a complete reset now (both buttons a few seconds), than put back my saved settings, tested a short datalog run and it works.
Don't know why - but problem solved for now... |
