UN4RACING - That's all you need. Yes the old hotwire will work once you have the adapter.

Just to put it out there you can always use the reciever wire (old school) to program the Gen 2 speedo's as well but the new adapter is WAY easier IMO.

It's normal. Mine is the same way.

Anyone wondering how strong the new BEC is, it is quite impressive. We are testing mechanical breaks in our ET48 electric truggy and the ESC has enough BEC current to run two Hitec 7955s (one for steering, one for break) for ten minutes without a capacitor (glitch buster) on the rx. Servos were going strong and no issues for the entire race.

Actually I found the Gen1 able to handle two 7955's in my Mugen truggy Tekno conversion. Have you tested something like two 7940's or 2 HV servos? That would be a true test of the internal BEC. Are you running the 7955's at 7.4v?

Yes, both at 7.4. I added this because previously we had intermittant issues on all our vehicles with a 7955 on a gen 1 until we added a glitch buster. Now there is no need for this even with two servos.

Yep. It can run either sensor or sensorless motors.
