S is on the end on the bottom sticker and screen
Being the older one in your photo, can't say if it will have the binding problem till you go to bind more then one.

Everything worked smoth, some days ago i upload the new FW
called 19-08-2016 from the HP of flysky
After some troubles to upload it in the gun(the USB Emulator have to be enabled in setup) the display show that version 1.09-CN from16-03-2016 .
Following the new manual (same site as above) also the RX FW can be updated through the TX wireless.
As i dont know which FW i have ( find no way ) i select in the gun menue "RX setup" and "Update receiver". Also after some tries the dialog box opened and the new FW get flashed-dont remember the version number.
After that everything is running smooth.
Cant find a way to see the RX FW version, but when i try to "update receiver" again, the dialog "Already newest version" comes up.
So everything is fine....TILL i tried to update my second receiver.
First - in the "RX-Update" the RX get no communications, after some tries it start flashing -comment like "flashing version xx and some progress .." it stopped and display interuption or similar expression on flashing fw.
THATS IT-- i can do what i want,"Factory reset" "RX-setup" pressing the reset button(on the backside/bottom on the Receiver(little hole in the cover) no reaction at all the RX symbol is red on the TX screen.
No binding possible, LED is flashing slow, press the reset button during power up or down or "operation" no reaction. So only flashing from the RX LED.
SO please help, what can i do ?
Is there a way or a SW to connect a cable to the RX to reset or make a new FW flash or "whatever" to bring the RX back to live ?
Thanks for every info-please help
Robert
Have the exact same problem. Did this on 2 RX's and they are both just blinking 3 times continous. Can not rebind them at all, or any other contact with them. So are there any way to unbrick theese or am I screwed on theese 2 RX's?

Did you, in the binding menu, choose the correct RF standard? I can choose three, FHSS, FHSS 2-way or Mini-Z (FHS). If I choose the wrong one I cannot bind, like you describe.

Good luck,

Hugo

Put a multimeter on the battery and confirm it has voltage and is not overdischarged.

Default 3/4 channel lighting

Anyone know if it is possible to switch lighting on and off through the receiver via 3rd or 4th channel or is it strictly for switching polarity and mixing to a servo?

Hi,

I just bought an FS-iT4S from Banggood with the telemetry stuff, but the Tx is dead. I am now fighting Banggood for a refund or replacement, but so far to no avail. They offer me half a refund.

Anyway, I am, with their permission, trying to fix the transmitter. I found I get voltage from the battery to the PCB, charging via the USB port works, the on-off switch is propperly connected to the PCB and it works. Hooking the transmitter to my PC does not work, the PC does not see anything connected. So running FlySky's firmware updater does not work, either.

Anything else I can check? I seems to me the chip just is not programmed at all, but I see no way to do that.

Please help if you have a good idea,
Cheers,

Hugo

Default Will FS-iA4B work on IT4?

Has anyone tried a FS-iA4B receiver on a iT4 non S version? I know the chart says they are not compatible. But I was wondering if they say that because the sensor ports are different. Maybe if you don't use the sensors it will still communicate? If no one has tried it yet I'll have to order a receiver and give it a shot.

Anyone been using this for racing? I really like the look and the features on this. Has anyone actually tested the latency? Is it really under 10ms? Are there any receivers for it that have a gyro?

I have been using the IT4S for 1/10 offroad and onroad for over a year now, love the easy to use touch screen and menu, more features than you will ever use, have only had problems with the older smaller recievers, the ones that are 8 bucks, but I have since put a couple layers of servo tape to isolate the impact and vibration and they have been fine. Put a small piece of servo tape under where the wheel swings out to keep it from moving and your golden, great radio!

I have the IT4S but the RF standards are AFHDS, AFHDS 2, AFHDS 2A 1-way, and AFHDS 2A 2-way. Any idea how to change to the mini z options??

Hi guys, i want to purchase this radio for mini z sports or rwd . However, since the firmware from flysky does not support fhss protocol used by rwd, is It possible to use 432's firmware which is essentially a facelift version of it4s? thanks

Well, a late answer is better than no answer.... No, I don't think you can.

I have a question. I have a temp sensor hooked up since this morning, as it is piping hot outside and I am going to do some practice runs at the club with my touring car this afternoon. I can see the temp on the main screen, so the sensing and communication are working. But can I program some warning, like a beeping noise, in it, should the temperature go over a programmed threshold? It's not easy putting on my reading glasses to check, while racing.

Cheers,

Hugo

Default message to update firmware for receiver

I just purchased a FS-iT4 transmitter and it came with a FS-iA4B receiver. As soon as I turn on the receiver the transmitter displays a message "a firmware update is available for your receiver"

I checked and the transmitter has the latest firmware but I can't find info or firmware for the receiver

Can anyone help?
Thanks
