Does any one know if the newest versions have the chip that fixes the binding problem or do you still have to install it your self?

hey guy,
I recently got my it4 and when updated to 1.02 firmware the throttle is not center, and the brakes are always engage....
have anybody gone thru this issue before,
Can someone send me the 1.01us version firmware for this transmitter?

titansavage 06-07-2015 06:05 PM

how is the IT4 compared to the futaba and airtronics systems (MXV, 3PL)?

trying to decide between these 3. all about the same price range.

Ice_2k 06-11-2015 08:16 AM

@titansavage The IT4 has A TON more options than the others. The telemetry is working great and seems pretty accurate, I think it's a great radio, especially if you consider the features you're getting and for what money.

WOW I had forgotten about this thread. I have had ZERO problems with my iT4 after I installed the new chip and flashed it with the new firmware. So no loss of signal, brown outs, failures of any kind on over a year.

People at the track still look amazed when they see the color touch screen. Then they see how much it does for the price and wonder about getting one.

I was at the track on Thursday. I had not charged the battery in in a while. I was thinking i may not make the night. Well 4 trips to the track on Thursdays without charging and I was down to about 1/3 on the battery. Could make another trip and not have to worry about it.

I have set this up in one of my 2wd Slashes for FPV driving. So far I loose the video long before I loose the signal to drive it. I am going out about 250m 300m around hills, bumps, bushes and trees.

I am a died hard Airtronics man, yet this radio has so many features, plus the cost of the Rx's makes it hard to buy a Futaba or Airtroincs radio.

Buzz.

how does the radio feel? can you feel a lag from when you turn the wheel and the servo responds?

blvdbuzzard 06-15-2015 07:21 PM

Not that I can feel, see or tell. Those who have driven my truck also say it feel good. One guy said ti felt slow. I said hand me the radio. I went through a few menu's, pushed a few buttons, did NOTHING to the radio. Handed it back and said hows that? He was amazed at how much better it felt. Was faster and he wanted to know what I did. I said I change the servo frame rate. Well it was total BS but he said it felt faster. If you "think" it is slow, it will be slow. I bet there is a very few that could really feel a .000001 second lag.

Plus this radio is about 1/2 the weight of the others.

Anyone know where I can source a replacement steering wheel? Mine was damaged but I like its larger size and would like to buy a same sized replacement. Most radios have small wheels:(

Rx Voltage

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could specify exactly what voltage the Rx is putting out to channel 2 for my servo. I was just going over specs on my Savox servo and it operates at peak performance at 7.5 volts. I see the specs read 4.0 to 8.4 volts but does that mean you can wire a BEC and it can handle that much? any help would be appreciated.
