I received an email with tracking number for my replacement chip. So it should be here soon. I have (4) cars now, need to order more Rx's.

Absima will be also selling a waterproof rx, the R4WP, see http://shop.absima.com/RADIOS-SERVOS...&c=3771&p=3771. Dimensions 35x22x15mm, telemetry capable, not in stock yet.

I wonder if they will bind to the Flysky

I don't see a reason why not. The CR4T is the same as iT-4 and use the same receivers.

I got confirmation also. In Cincinnati right now. I hope this works along with the update. The radio works great. The temperature telemetry has been very helpful.

My chip is in Los Angles headed my way. I say 2 days and it will be here just in time for the weekend. Soon, very soon my pretty, I will tear you apart and rebuild you in a better form and function.

I also got an email from them that had an attachment, I cannot get it to work. I can click it and download it but then it tell me I have an older version and sends me to a new sign in page. Anyone else get this?

I think the local track is about to ban fly sky radios. supposedly someone has one that takes control over other people's cars. it happened to a few at the races and a few of us at practice sunday.
most of the other guys were running futaba, spektrum, stock rtr radios and my airtronics.
thankfully my fail safe saved my car but some others werent so lucky. one guy's car ran right into the wall at full speed.

RCRacer6 03-11-2014 05:03 PM

We have had 2 of the new radios at our track with zero issues. I have seen some older flysky radios there to with no problem. This is strange, never heard of this happening since we have started using 2.4.

Hard to believe this radio "took over" another radio that uses a different coding, different form of signal jumping, will not bind with the other radios. Sounds more like a brown out, loss of signal or some other form of interference.

There are 6 or 7 GT3C's, GT3B's, my iT4 running the indoor track without issues. I would say there is more going on here then a budget radio taking over high dollar radios.

So they ban Fly Sky and it still happens, then what? Ban Airtronics? Then Futaba? What if I show up with my 27mhz radio?

I dont know if it makes a difference ,but some one tried the firmware and it would not work. So makes me wonder if they have something that would keep them from working. Will have to pic one up and see.

Same here... Hopefully DHL will pull through. I honestly didn't even realize they were still in business.

I hear ya I would think it would be the other way a round and the flysky would get jammed by the expensive radio's I think that's funny ban the underdog!!

I don't know the whole story. but whenever the kid is using it everyone starts having issues with run aways etc.
mine started steering funny. I could see the front wheels go straight and back the way I had it turned then straight again then the car came to a stop. then took off when I wanted to and stopped again.
I've never had that happen before.

I said to another guy walking on the track by me my car started steering on it's own and stopped. and he instantly looked up at the drivers stand and said it's that kid's radio. that's why he's out picking his car up. it also stopped from the fail safe kicking in.

I don't know anything about a flysky radio or how it works but from what I overheard the other guys saying it doesn't lock on it keeps scanning unlike most radios.
