He did. Cutting and pasting from his FB page.

SMC Racing shared a link.

I'm pleased to announce that SMC is now a sponsor on RC Groups and we have our own section in the Vendors forum.

For those who have been following me on RCtech I had a difference with the people running that site and they even suspended me. I will no longer post on RCtech even if they remove my suspension.

Questions can be asked in the thread son RC Groups or on our Facebook page.

Yea I pre-ordered a Race Formula shorty last week and FB messaged Danny. He said late next week...maybe. I'm hoping so as my ThrottleWorxx shorties are not going to be great for stock racing with their high and uneven IR.

What charger are you using to test IR? Just curious.

If you charge with it connected to a PC you can save all the data but it doesn't (to my knowledge) store that info on the unit itself. I got mine on here used for $125 shipped and I'm totally happy with it. Keep an eye out for their refurbished units, they seem to get them every few weeks.

So what does everyone think about this. The pack isn't very old isn't swelled much just the usual filling of the case but never abused. It melted a hole through the bottom of the case like it shorted out internally.

Oh and FYI it's in a tekno SCT 410 I know the bottom of the case looks ruff but its just from being velcro'd into the truck

Are the plugs tight and clean? I've read that loose plugs and sometimes cage-type plugs have increased resistance and cause some heat, and with the high current draw of an SCT it can melt the case.

Which style plugs are you using, solid or birdcage bullets? My guess is that you had a loose connection between the bullets and it heated up the female which then burnt a hole in the bottom of the case.

Solid and like I already said ITS IN THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE PACK AS IN LENGTH WISE THE BULLETS DID NOT GET HOT AND MELT THE CASE I WILL TAKE MORE PICTURES TO CLEAR THIS UP

Gotcha....opposite end of the pack might have been a better description. I would send that pic over to Danny and see what he has to say.
