Still no one answered my question is the spektrum module slowing down the transition time for the feel of the car when your driving it or is there a lag. For instance driver inputs are they the same , faster , or slower. I hate my timing to change.

Spektrum claims a 5.4ms latency which is even faster than Futaba's HRS system. There have been many arguments as to what that means and how it is measured. Reality is - I have not seen a difference in "feel" of the car over the standard xtal module and receiver. Only difference, no more waiting for freq clips or worrying about someone turning on with your freq!

I ran my 12th scale without a receiver pack or capacitor on ozite, with no lag. Same in touring , It felt the same as my regular module & receiver. This was with a M8 and 2 different Spektrum receivers. The thin air up here makes all a little slow though.

just received my system last week, i used my spektrum in my hitech CRX at my local track this past weekend, i was using hitech digital servos, and one truck was using a novak GT7, and a novak brushless in the other .. system worked fine using 2 different receivers i did notice a lot less battery draw from my transmitter, and everything else felt the same, hope it stays like this

I think the 3PK has about a 3ms latency in the way it streams the data to the module giving an overall minimum latency of 8.6ms...
To all intents and purposes to me, it feels as fast as the HRS system but with no more glitching causing issues..
