Sent two Spektrum units back today. It will be interesting to see what the turn-around time is. My car was a pile of crap on Saturday, whether this was due in part to the Spektrum I am not sure, but I did notice that when on the car stand, moving the wheel back and forth a few times would cause the steering to hesitate before resuming movement.

Broke down and got the last KO they had today sorry.

I can't imagine most shops not having them by tommorrow, I'm scared to open it anyone wanna make me an offer lol

Got my whole order from Horizon Last night...One Spektrum DSM1300 for the Helios and two extra receivers..Thsi morning I binded them and have tested them out fornt the house. I will be using it this weekend at Hot Rod Hobbies TC track and will let you know if any problems accour. But from all the M-8 spektrum that were there last time with no problems. I dought I will have a problem. I will also be going down to SoCal soon and test it there also but then again last time I was there, guys who were running there M-8 models had no problems.

Will keep you posted.

I ran my spektrum a few weeks ago, and it is awesome not having to worry about glitching.

just picked up mine (KO) at my LHS.... gonna try it out this weekend!

I'm desperate to get the KO one as well. How is it that all you KO owners are getting yours when Horizon's website sez "not yet available" for the KO radios? My LHS that I have mine pre-ordered at gets the same response from Horrizon reps on the phone as what the website informs. Are the KO units only available in California right now?

nah... mine was here in OK. from what people said, they were shipping them out last friday, so those in CA probabl just got them first, as they are closest to the Horizon warehouse.

for those that are curious, it says on the box, "for EX10, Mars, and Mars R"

I'm assuming there are two major warehouses for Horrizon then? I swear that there is a large one in Champaigne, IL. I certainly hope they get their shipment sometime soon.

Illinois is home to Tower. Needless to say, a direct competitor to Horizon. You wont find them at Tower anytime soon.

FYI:
There is a Horizon warehouse in IL also...
