If it's a V3, just attach the program box and switch to the the blinky profile (press 'R/P', then 'Value' to scroll through to mode 2). Whats neat is if you make changes to the stock blinky profile, these will be saved if you switch back again to boosted.
Bare in mind that blinky mode is activated on the V3 by simply putting the boost and turbo to zero.

However, if it's a V2.1, then you'll need the program box and PC, as blinky can only be set on those ESC's by changing the software (V3_508_ZeroTiming).

Are you running a V3? Have you tried the stock 17.5 settings that come on the esc? Hook your program box up and press the r/p button until you get to the 17.5 settings and go from there. Hope it gets you pointed in the right direction.

I just purchase v3 and will be using on 13,5 open brushless this coming February on TITC at rc addict....

I know that some of you have some previous experience in that track so maybe you can give me a good setup for that track.....

Thanks

Something I've always found helpful for sorting out the rev ranges, is to calculate the speed that the car is doing on track. IMO, trying to figure out the lowest RPM that the motor turns on track, and then setting the start RPM to suit is best. From testing with a data-logger, usually the lowest speed (regardless of class, as we're talking corner apex speed) is around 7-9mph. So setting the start RPM by back calculating from the roll out and FDR. It's easier than it sounds, especially with this excel sheet.

Again, from your settings originally posted, along with higher start, maybe also try less boost/more turbo, and also a higher end RPM. Also, don't forget, you don't need to use all the dynamic timing, if the track doesn't allow it. I've seen plenty of situations where adding more timing hasn't made the car any faster, and just added heat.

Hi Guys,

I want to know if it's ok to install HW software for V3 in to my Speedpassion GT2.0 Pro?
If I connect my SP to HW USB Link V3.2, it shows that my Speedo hardware is HW427_V1.0.

Thanks

And i´m running the ThunderPower 17.5T, and the HW 3.1 ESC.

What is the size of the track? You say small, but that is a relative term. Have you tried any setting? Do you have an idea of what you are missing and what you are looking for?

I don't race boosted 17.5, but with some info and feedback, I can try to help you reach a good setting.
