LRP IX8

Ran this speed controller with a tekin 1900 motor. Really smooth and brakes were awesome. Ran it on the profile 2 and had plenty of power at a fairly large outdoor track. I'm trying the Radiopost servo and did have to put in a glitch buster capacitor because without it if I got my "Blippy Nitro finger" moving to fast it would sorta do the "brown out" thing where it would stop responding momentarily. But no issues after the capacitor was installed.
It was actually my first 1/8 e-buggy race ever with no practice except for the day of the race. But I had a good setup from my Nitro Serpent car. I've raced Nitro 1/8 buggy for ~4 years. Last two have been expert. I qualified like 7 out of 13 Expert. I was mid pack during the A main.

Good to here on the Tekin. I am running one with my ix8 til I can get a hold of the LRP. Was curious about the combo.

I'm actually running 2 of the spektrum capacitors to prevent brown outs. I'm running a stupid powerful/fast savox servo. 1 fixed the issue for me for the most part but I did still had a very ocational glitch. With 2 capacitors I haven't had any other problems.

Cool, I have 2 capacitors so I'll use both. Lookin forward to getting up and running!

Sorry guys, finally found that it doesn't work actually, i also found the throttle power on and off issue, finally used the BEC battery and it works, but still have to wait for the LRP firmware update to solve it(if LRP really know about it)

I've had a really frustrating first day with mine. Constant brown outs even with 2 spectrum capacitors, and thermalling. First time after 10 minutes, after that after only 2 laps, something very wrong!
If a motor thermals can it break inside and leave it overheating very quickly from then on? Can the esc survive thermalling?
Also, my fan still doesn't come on even at about 120f, when does everyone else's come on?
No idea what to try, a new motor or a new esc
