Default Brushless Esc confusion

I am a little new to the whole brushless world. I am wondering about the compatability of different motors and esc's. Will a sensored LRP sphere run a Novak sensored motor. What's the story?

Thanks

Yes. I have only heard of acoupe of odd combinations that dont work. I run Novak motors with LRP, Novak, and HobbyWing Speedos no problem at all.

Thanks for the help.

I am up and running.

Now I just need to get myself a few options to play with.

All manufacturers, who sell sensored escs and motors, are expected (by ROAR) to offer the same sensor wire configueration and sensor design so that motors and escs from different mfgs are compatible.

And no other brand ever has a problem so just buy anything BUT Novak.

just can't let it go can ya..

Maybe Novak sells more product than the others and simple math tells us you'll see more issues as a result. I must be the only guy on the planet who doesn't have trouble with Novak stuff.
