I upgraded it to the V1 .11 for the program card and now theres just a butch of square things on the screen . So i cant see anything on it il just need to do it on the PC.

But i did change some settings with it pluged into the PC on the ESC and it took it fine .

End points? Shouldn't have to from just making changes. But with what you just went through I would.

And the 130814 filmware for the ESC how do you do that i tried to but it was just highlighted blue i couldnt add it.

Wondering if anyone can provide guidance around connecting a smaller wire gauge motor to a mamba monster with larger wire gauge?

Seems like the best way would be to take the HW motor wires and solder them to a castle connector. Any better way to do this or recommended methods...pictures would be great!

Thanks!!!!

Could anyone share what battery you guys are running with the SCT Pro/4700KV combo in the Losi SCTE? Trying to help a friend get going and I know little to nothing about 4wd SC trucks. He will mostly be racing on a medium sized outdoor tracks but may venture to some larger tracks down the road so I would like to get him some advice on a good all around battery that will adequately power the truck on most any track.

Would a 40C 6500mAh be adequate?

Shouldn't need a fan for 17.5, might even get away without it in 8.5 with proper airflow. I would still watch the temp.

Sounds alittle light on the C rating. Depends on the brand.

No blink correct.

That's the same firmware I installed in mine. Went right in. Is your LCD card updated to the latest? You have to have the laptop hooked to the card, and the card hooked to the ESC fan port. Switch on. And make sure in the software you have the esc picked not the card.

I am new to brushless and sensored, and ordered a Speed Passion Competition MMM 10.5 motor today. I am trying to figure out which Hobbywing ESC I should pair up with this motor. I will be using it to race in a short course 2wd. I didn't know if I should use the 150A EZRUN, 150A XERUN, or the XERUN SCT Pro.
Also is the programming card included or is it bought separately?
Is it necessary to have?
Anything else I will need to purchase?
ALSO what C rating of Lipo should I run with this setup?

Thanks for helping a newbie!

Unfortunately the C ratings are far from truthful in most cases.

You could try the v2.1 or the 3.1 just stock. I would go with the v 2.1 myself. Why didn't you get a HW combo? They are very reasonable in price and the motors are great.
