Just flashed .mod 528 on to my SP GT2 Pro and noticed that the AMTS option isn't there for configuring it.

I'm having heat issues anyway with a 6.5 HPI motor, so I've turned timing all off anyway in a bid to get to the bottom of the issue. If I don't then I think I'll get an Orion 6.5 motor for my SX3.

Not wanting the v3 SP motor as I've had the connectors arcing issues

Well I think that I may have pushed my Duo 3 17.5 to hard. Timing maxed out, 85 degrees outside and 7 minute main cooked my motor at the 6:45 mark. Good time to try a Speed Passion motor with my Pro Stock esc.

Duo 3 17.5 with timing has been great, highly recommend. I have heard good things about SP v3 motors also and have been wanting one. I just need to keep my temp. gun near by.

I have an almost year old short course combo and now I've ran into problems after I changed my receiver and radio into Kyosho KT-201 even I think it's unrelated. Receiver and radio IMO works correctly as there are no problems with another car.

The car needed a nudge to start moving. So I checked every possible connection of the wires and started fiddling with the ESC settings. No luck. Then I changed the sensor cable and things started to look bit better. But the best I've now got out from the system is that motor starts about 3/10 times without any help and breaking works but no reverse. Any ideas?

Another question about the leds default behaviour: When I turn ESC on, both red and yellow leds are on, and when on throttle or break/reverse, both leds are off. Is this normal?

I'm thinking about putting together a TLR 22 rig and I'm looking for a good ESC/Motor combo. The 'richie rich' type guys at the track are recommending a Tekin RS pro sensored ESC/Moto combo which run about $300. I think I'm going to want a sensored system for smoothness and Speed passion has a 13.5 system for 1/3 the price of the Tekin. What exactly am I giving up on other than an extra $200 in my pocket?

I use stock 323 with mod and stock so I don't have to download new software, but rather just change the settings at the track. It's mostly cranked up all the way for the 17.5 in the buggy and with a 7.5 mod motor I just dial it way back down. It's not suggested to use 323 for mod in case you forget to dial it back down but it works if you are careful. Set the boost and timing real low for mod and the motor does all the work.

As a sidenote, one time I did forget to lower the settings after putting in the 7.5 and when I pulled full throttle on the 120' back straight I was already half way down the straight. I realized right away that I forgot to change the settings. The car immediately did a back flip and tumbled the last 50' of the straight. oops.

We are submitting about 6 different types of Speed Power LIPO to ROAR right now...I would say about a month later, they should be all approved.
