When are we going to see 4 pole software for the Reventon Pro. The competition already has it..

I've tried the Blaze 1/8 2450kv motor yesterday; smooth powerband, great top speed, and motor temp is cool as ice. Run my buggy with 3s lipo and FDR around 9.50
Really thumbs up for this motor!

cool. Figured that high of a Kv probably would work great on 3S.

Just picked up a 2wd buggy. Going to run it stock 17.5. Will a Reventon Stock Club Spec ESC be enough. Or should I look for a bigger Esc.

Reventon Pro Cap

Does anyone know the part number for a replacement capacitor for the Reventon Pro? I looked on the SP site, and I did not see it.

Should be plenty. TYPICALLY, most programs that run a 17.5 usually have a Blinky mode (non-ESC timing) but you can up the motor timing. I think it would be a great combo to start. SP motors are excellent.

I found this one:
EXT98802-C01 It says its for the GT series.

Or this:

EXA93301-C01 Which is for the Citrix Stock, but looks like the Rev. Pro version.

No Motor

Hello,

I'm having a small issue with a Rev pro I just purchased. I'm not getting any motor movement. Motor is brand new and the radio and tx are perfect. I'm able to calibrate to esc with no problem. Both the orange and red lights are on. I've tried different sensor wires, another motor and different batteries.

esc = Rev Pro (firmware updated)
motor = Reedy Sonic 2 8.5
radio = KO Propo Eurus FH

Any suggestions?

Thanks

did you check to see if your settings are reversed? Like hit the brakes and see if anything happens? Mine was that way using a Futaba radio.

Can you hear the motor making ANY noises? Have you used this motor in other cars and has it worked before? Can you move the motor by hand w/o power on?

Reverse your throttle setting on your radio and calibrate one more time.

 Bingo!

Thanks guys. I guess it's not just Futaba radios that have to reverse the throttle. Now that I understand how to read SP manuals, any other surprises I should be aware of? :sneaky:

Some radio/servo combos might need to be reversed also. My KO Helios with a KO PDS servo is reversed.

Check this page out. It has several videos demonstrating setup for Reventon Pros.
