The Reventon Pro was designed for 1/10 scale applications. I would not use it for 1/8 unless you want to let out the magic smoke. The Silver Arrow ESC was designed specifically for 1/8 applications.

Someone gave me a Speed Passion Silver Arrow ver 2 and it does not have a switch. The two power wires are connected. I need to reprogram for a different radio and conditions. How can I do this? any advice? So no power switch or key switch!
Thanks - Paul

Does it have the pigtail for the switch? If yes I'd put a new switch on, they are only like 3 bucks or so. In the meantime to reprogram unplug your battery then short the white wire to the black wire while plugging the battery in, radio needs to be on... This will put it in program mode. Its just like pressing the button every time you touch those two wires together. So once it is in program mode pull the wires apart, then touch them, this will set the neutral point. Then pull full throttle on the radio, touch the wires together, this sets full throttle. Then last full brake and touch the wires. Should be done.
