Raced yesterday inbetween the rain drops at Litchfield raceway in Michigan. New stock software is awesome. Here is my settings. SC10 Duo 3 17.5 with 5degrees on endbell. Pro Stock v2.1 with 323 software. 22/87 gearing.
1. forward/brake 2. drag brake 0% 3. cut off 3.2v 4. DRRS 7 5. max brake 100% 6. max rev 25% 7. initial brake 0 8. dead band 6% 9. Boost timing 40 10. turbo slope 6degree/0.1s 11. over heat protection 95c 12. turbo timing 20 13. boost start RPM 1000 14. turbo delay 0.1s 15. boost timing acceleration 50 RPM 145-150F on motor after 5 minute. Truck felt really good, I was able to pull away from others on the straight away. I ended up 9th out of 28 Stock SCT after qualifing but the rain ended our day early. Nice Job Speed Passion  |
That's pretty close to where I ended up with my B4 Tom. I ran less brake, less DRRS punch, and a slower turbo slope. Our track was dry and slick most of the day. Similar motor temps to yours, about 155 deg, speedo (LPF 2.0) was about 140. Even my GT 2.0 Pro was pushing 130 with the fan running in 4wd.

okay ran at the track today with my new sct mater combo with 11.5 laps were consistant but the speed was not there so we decided to push the envolope as hard as we could and i mean push it please if your new don't do this alone get some help as i did no upgrades to esc yet and a 7.5 novark motor and this thing handled it with no problem esc never over 100 deg and motor at 160 after some gearing and testing [thats at 15 or 20 mins of run time lol could get enough very impressed with this esc here is the program card settings
1-4 2-1 3-2 4-1 5-1 6-1 7-5 8-2 9-1 10-4 i put this system in a losi calandra conversion and is one of the fastest trucks at the track week in and week out thanks again for such a great esc comb |
Short course master seems slow
Hi there,
Just picked up the SP Short course master and plugged it into my Losi XXX SCT. I have a Tekin Redline 17.5 motor in there and after getting everything all soldered up and running it, it just seems very slow. It might be gearing (23/88) but it just sounds like the motor isn't spinning up to it's highest RPMs. Seems like it was faster with the RTR combo that had the same spur but a lower pinion. Is there some setup issue that I'm missing? Thanks. |

OK, thanks for the advice. I think I read somewhere that SP is working on a 550 motor. Until that time, I was looking at the Tekin Redline or Novak Ballistic 550 motors. Do you know if the GT 2.0 works better with one or the other?
But again...I am talking about 2S racing only. |

Can I get some help from a Speed Passion representative? I placed an order on April 21 through the website and immediately got my order receipt stating that I should have the order within a week. As of today I have not received the order or any other type of correspondance. I have emailed the customer support email listed in the original order email receipt- [email protected]- but it bounces back when I try to send an email. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will give him a call- really looking forward to getting the esc and giving it a try.

Thanks again- Albert got me all squared away. Apparentl the package was returned to the sender (dang USPS!), but he resent it and sent a fresh tracking number. Should have the package early next week.
