Not officially but i think its pretty safe to say maclan is the new name. Im intriuged to see the new speed contols too

Viper is Maclan racing now.

Viper is no more, new company is Maclan, all brand new, nothing carries over from one to the next. 2 totally different companies and product.

Same vision for their products? I loved the progauge and the insane tunability. I also appreciated being able to jump on here and talk to Nick directly. Eventually one of my Vipers will fail and I'm wondering which way to turn. I've been a Viper guy from VERY early on.

I have a Viper Copperhead esc that isn't working right. I emailed Viper from their website and got no reply, I guess this maybe why.

Bigger and better ideas are in the works. More performance, great quality - good price point are the goals. The team will be the same --- the brand will be different.

Nope. Maclan products will be 100% different from anything Viper did.

I don't know if i can bring myself to purchase any of your product. For close to a year now you have been telling us that Viper would be back, knowing all along it was gone and the principals of the company where just going to start over. There is a level of trust that i feel was broken. Will you do it again in 5 years?

What happens to support of my old Viper products? Will I be able to trade them in on Maclan products if they ever release the magic blue smoke or stop working?
