Just want that to be a widely known fact :D

Yeah, run the ESC power caps.... LOL

haha i turned the bec up to 7v on my vtx10 and that savox servo came to life!
haha.. plus it was a fully charged lipo so it was probably in the 7.4 range.

did not have a problem.. i have since turned it down to 5v and added back in the spektrum power cap for the spektrum rx's i like the comfort of the cap letting me know i wont have a brown out or missed lap!

 thats what i wanted to hear

there should be far less brown out issues with these esc's keeping in mind that the latest manual I have recieved lists the bec as 5amp as well as being adjustable.

piece of mind for me.. i have lost a couple races due to a missed lap or two towards the end when lipos start droping off.

5Amps sounds good to me too. With the adjustable BEC, that's just voltage right? Tell me if I'm right about this: increasing the BEC voltage will necessarily increase the amp draw of a given servo.

Has anyone tried the new Viper motor with the MMP. I tried it and I'm experiencing a lot of cogging. Change the motor and it goes away. Try a different Viper motor and same thing more cogging. Can't figure out if it's just a software conflict with the MMP

Viper has heard of one or two instances of this with the MMP and is already looking into it.:D

i was having this issue with mine. i upped the BEC to 6v and threw on a novak glitch buster cap and have had zero problems since. i was also using a spectrum receiver so im not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

Those glitch busters seem to take care a lot of glitching issues. They seem to be a must have in the pit box.

Looking forward to the release of these esc's!

Been waiting patiently and have tried pretty much every esc out there. I'm convinced that this is the esc for me even though I haven't used one yet

Seems like the spektrum rx's are the worst for the problem or at least it's what you hear about the most.

Carey, you won't be disappointed!

I have been a Futaba guy since the mid 80's. When I got back into RC I picked up a 3pks. I have not had a single issue. I knew very little about Spektrum at the time. I ended up getting a DX 3.0 for my little guy. I had nothing but problems with glitching from day one. Re-bound it many times ect.

I ended up ditching my sons DX 3.0 and got him a Futaba 3PL

In the few years I have been back in RC, I have heard about way too many issues with Spektrum radios.

Seems you either get a good one or you don't, and your chances are 50/50
