JP Richards runs for Viper? I wonder why Maifield didnt run.

nikos2002 11-15-2013 05:55 PM

Yes, and Ryan doesn't normally go to Spektrum race its normally Cav and Evans. Phend lives up in that area, and its Due's home track.

I thought it was a bigger race. Been hearing about it for a while

hey guys,
I have vst 10.5, and one of the bearings is beginning to get a bit rough.

I know its the motor bearing, because i just moved the motor from my 22t to my 22SCT, and its making the same noise. my gear mesh is spot on. and i just pulled it all apart, and the bearing in the front cap(?, against the motor splate) is rough.

I contacted my local hobby shop, and he said the bearing set from viper (VIP8VSPVST005) is out of stock from his vendor.
but he may be able to get that size bearing from another manufacturer. problem being, i don't know what size these bearings are, and I searched quite a bit, and couldn't find any results.
so bob or nikos, what size are the bearings for a VST10.5 motor?
any suggestions on an different manufacturer?

nikos2002 11-17-2013 08:37 PM

It's the same standard size bearing used in any brushless motor.

Hey Rob, are you using an app to edit the pic to get the colors to pop like that or is it just the lighting different?
